Photos: July 4th Fifth Season Race

The 24th annual Alliant Energy Fifth Season race was first in the lineup for today’s Freedom Festival activities. The event included an 8K run, 5K Run/Walk, Youth Mile Run and a Kids’ Run, which took place in downtown Cedar Rapids on May’s Island.

The cool temperature and overcast sky allowed for great racing weather, despite a little morning drizzle.
